BOWLING FOR BOOBIES – A fundraising event for Breast Cancer

Bowl to live music! Hosted by Chase & The Dragon with performances by Chase & The Dragon, Bad Crowd, Quixotic, Bad Habitat and Sculptor.

MamaMedes (mom to Diomedes/Avery of Bad Crowd) is celebrating her birthday and the triumphant finish of her bout with breast cancer. She is eager to share her victory with her favorite local Hip-Hop musicians… and you’re invited too!

Individual Admission: $10
This includes unlimited bowling, open pool tables, live music (and birthday cake of course).

TEAM Bowling: $20 per person (includes all of the above and more)
Bowling’s always more fun with friends. Create & register your team ahead of time. Being on a team gets you a fabulous BOWLING FOR BOOBIES T-shirt, pizza, a bowling pin autographed by the performing artists… and the best part – COMPETITION & PRIZES!!

Nonstop fun at the Bring The Beat Back benefit party

This past Tuesday, a crew of local bands with a strong foundation in hip-hop got together at Someday Lounge to raise money for drummer Chase Pingree to replace a drum set stolen from his car. The show was free with a percentage of bar sales donated as well, so the party was all about getting loose and having a good time. A couple of months ago the drummer of The Chicharones (Chase Pingree) had his car broken into in front of his house and his drumset stolen. His car insurance wouldn’t cover the cost of the drums and so Chase has been throwing together borrowed pieces from multiple other drummers to take on the road and do shows. We find it unfair for someone as talented as Chase to go without the tools necessary for his art.

There is a Free Benefit Concert taking place for him on April 7th at The Someday Lounge in Portland, OR with performances by The Chicharones, Raise The Bridges, Quixotic, Abadawn & The Kill Party and Eddie Valiant.
